Our 2020 100% Petit Verdot is everything lovers of this varietal look for: powerful yet soft. Classic aromas of violets and dusty lavender are joined by light notes of maple and sage. Inky dark purple in color, ripe plums, black cherries and sweet blackberries dominate the intense flavor profile. Bold, smooth tannins and a lush mouthfeel eventually give way to a lingering finish of dark fruits and earthiness. Pair with salty cheeses or your favorite grilled steak with a compound butter.
