This medium to dark purple colored wine opens with deep inviting aromas of dark cherries and plums, accompanied by hints of orange rind, cloves and other baking spices. Mouthwatering flavors of the same are joined by lush fruit compote, all backed up by smooth, supple tannins and a very long finish featuring more dark fruits, vanilla bean, and very light leather notes right at the end. Pair this classic Zinfandel with chicken or pork in a harissa, date and orange sauce, any other medium-bodied dish, or your favorite pizza.
