Featuring Washington State plantings of the traditionally Portuguese varietals Touriga Nacional, Souzão, and Tinta Cão, our deep red 2020 Ruby port style wine opens with intense aromas of dark cherries, blackberry compote with warm vanilla sauce, and orange zest. As always, juicy black cherries dominate the flavor, joined by ripe blackberries, caramel, candied oranges and hints cherry, licorice, all lingering long into the finish that eventually closes with delicate notes of coffee.
