2021 Sparkling Rosé of Pinot Noir
Once again in 2021, two different clones of Pinot Noir grapes from PineBrake Vineyard north of Zillah give our Sparkling Rosé its characteristic cantaloupe color. This year the aromas include strawberry, papaya, and ripe melons, with a hint of orange rind as the wine warms a bit in the glass. The fine mousse of bubbles created using the traditional champagne method carries the wonderfully balanced flavors of strawberries, pink grapefruit and crisp nectarines forward into the delicate finish, which closes with hints of minerality and citrus cream-sickle. Perfectly paired with a stone fruit or citrus dessert, this bubbly will also complement any delicate seafood. Cheers!
