2022 Grenache

Our 2022 Grenache pays homage to the classic GSM blends of France’s Southern Rhône Valley, showcasing Grenache’s elegance, Syrah’s structure, and Mourvèdre’s depth. Predominantly sourced from Red Heaven Vineyard on Red Mountain and Sonrisa Vineyard in the Rattlesnake Hills AVA, this vintage opens with vivid aromas of raspberry, cranberry, and cherry layered with hints of vanilla and baking spice. The palate unfolds with rich, silky flavors of molasses and a chocolate-caramel confection, balanced by bright red fruit and gentle spice. A long, graceful finish highlights the supple, chalky tannins and polished texture that make Red Mountain fruit so distinctive. This versatile wine complements herbed roast chicken, grilled pork chops, and Provençal-style dishes. It also pairs beautifully with duck breast or a dark-chocolate-drizzled charcuterie board.
