2019 MELANGE BLANC

Mélange Blanc features some of the most select lots of white wine in Washington State. Roussanne once again provides the core of this vintage, providing classic aromas and flavors of honeycomb, fresh-cut ripe pear and chamomile tea. Viognier provides aromas and flavors of white peach, apricot and flowers, with a mineral note that starts on the nose and follows all the way through to the long finish. Finally, the Chardonnay in the blend provides citrus and green apple notes, just a hint of cinnamon from the barrels, and rounds out the mouthfeel. Crisp and agile on the palate, yet full-bodied, the Mélange Blanc appeals directly to your inner "white wine lover” and is a luscious accompaniment to dishes as varied as Duck Breast, Dungeness crab dip or grilled halibut.
